BrosMed Announces CE Mark and Launch for Conger™ Hydrophilic Coated Wire

March 15, 2016—BrosMed announced CE Mark and Launch of its Conger™ hydrophilic coated wire for peripheral vasculature during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

The Conger™ Hydrophilic Guidewire is constructed from a high quality, steerable metallic alloy core wire with a polymer coating utilizing a sophisticated construction process to improve crossability of guidewire. The hydrophilic coating is applied over the radiopaque polymer jacket to reduce the friction.

As part of the BrosMed Medical product portfolio, the Conger™ hydrophilic coated wire will definitely enhance company’s penetration to the market along with existing products like Artimes™ PTCA, Apollo™ PTCA, Minerva™ 0.018 PTA, Achilles™ NC 0.018 PTA, Polux™ 0.014 PTA, Castor™ NC 0.014, Atropos™ 0.035, Hermes™ NC 0.035 PTA and series of accessories.

“The wide range of the Conger™ hydrophilic coated wire from 45 to 260cm length with diameter from 0.025” to 0.038” will cover most of clinical need and we believe the launch of Conger™ wire will enhance BrosMed brand in the market and keep us competitive from others”. said by Jos A.W.J de Korte, General Manager of BrosMed Medical B.V., the Netherlands, the marketing and sales center of BrosMed Medical in Europe.
