Brosmed receives CE mark approval for Pronavi™ Microcatheter

Sittard, Netherlands [May 26, 2021] –Brosmed, a medical device company developing and commercializing innovative interventional treatment systems for patients with coronary and peripheral disease today announced she received CE Mark approval in the European Union for its Pronavi™ Microcatheter .Device is indicated for use in both coronary and peripheral interventions.

Microcatheters are used to provide support and safe guidewire exchange during complex cardiovascular procedures. The Pronavi Microcatheter facilitates excellent guidewire support, guidewire exchange and focal delivery of contrast media into coronary arteries, peripheral and abdominal vascular systems during complex endovascular procedures.

 

The Pronavi microcatheter has two kinds of distal tip design – a 1.7Fr & 1.9 Fr. The Pronavi 1.7Fr, has a proprietary hydrophilic coating and flexible distal segment to enable advancement and access through distal tortuous vessels. The shaft is fully stainless-steel braided for responsiveness, lumen integrity, and pushability. The radiopaque tapered soft 1.9Fr tip provides exceptional durability and pushability through tight calcified lesions and interstitial branches.

 

Pronavi™ is 0.014” guidewire compatible and available in 135cm,150cm and162cm lengths. 6 configurations in total for antegrade and retrograde access . 135 cm working length is used for antegrade; 150 cm and 162cm for retrograde .
